Introduction

The Codex Editor is a block cased content editor built upon TipTap, a headless editor framework. Tiptap gives you full control about every single aspect of your text editor experience. It’s customizable, comes with a ton of extensions, is open source and has an extensive documentation.

By using a headless editor framework, Codex allows you to create content for any type of channel. The result of the editor is a flexible array of content blocks, which contains the minimum amount of metadata required to render the content in web applications, native applications, social media or any other external system.
